<p><strong>Responsibilities:<br />
</strong></p>

<li>Perform set-up and test of electronic components, boards, assemblies and subsystems</li>
<li>Maintain complete and accurate records of test results</li>
<li>Provide recommendations to improve set-up and test procedures</li>
<li>Perform evaluation, troubleshooting, repair and test of returns</li>
<li>Work expeditiously with engineering to resolve troubleshooting or repair issues</li>
<li>Assess, adjust, and communicate priorities as required by customer, workload, etc.</li>
<li>Assist in coordinating the activities of other technicians</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Associates Degree+/ or Advanced Technical education in electronics technology</li>
<li>Able to use a variety of test equipment and tools including oscilloscopes, meters, and soldering iron</li>
<li>Fine pitch soldering skills</li>

<li>Able to work in a team environment</li>

<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>
<p>Our <strong>Software Engineers</strong> will initially target software for embedded devices including but not limited to motor drives and controls.  Engineers will ideally have embedded TI DSP software design and communication protocol development experience.  Your aim is to architect and develop efficient, real time code, producing high-quality, portable software product at the lowest cost and in the shortest time.  You will function within a highly talented specialized team environment and coordinate with others to accomplish the project tasks.  These positions reports to the Director of Engineering and work very closely with a small but growing multidisciplinary design team.</p>

<li>Capture customer requirements and translate into software specifications, schedules and test plans</li>
<li>Participate in product functionality discussions including feature analysis and system design tradeoffs</li>
<li>Design, modify, develop and test real time code for motor drives and controls</li>
<li>Provide communication and technical support to project team members</li>
<li>Develop applications used in production test support</li>
<li>Development of new “clean sheet” products as well as support of existing features and add-ons</li>

<li>Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electro Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or proven equivalent experience as a Software Engineer in a high technology company</li>
<li>Experience in software design of real time embedded systems using C/C++</li>
<li>Experience developing embedded code for motor drives and controls</li>
<li>Communication protocol development in at least one of the following: CAN, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet</li>
<li>Disciplined and iterative software development process experience</li>
<li>Modular and/or Object Oriented design practices</li>
<li>Ability to write requirements, specifications, test plans/reports and software users&#8217; manual</li>

<p>This key individual will assume responsibility for sourcing, production planning, shipping/receiving, inventory management, and logistics. The <strong>Senior Materials Manager </strong>will develop the systems, practices and personnel to support rapid growth involving both production ramp-up and new product development. Supplier base development is also a key responsibility.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Plan and direct activities of direct reports which may include sourcing manager, production planners, new product planners, buyers, shipper/receivers and warehouse personnel.</li>
<li>Develop a capable supplier base matched to the requirements of current and future products in quality, capacity, cost and delivery.</li>
<li>Implement effective planning processes both for current production and for future growth, including improved use of existing MRP system.</li>
<li>Manage the production schedule to meet customer requirements for new and repaired products while maximizing use of production capacity</li>
<li>Manage material inventory to support production while maximizing turns and minimizing costs. Ensure safe practices in material handling; make employee safety a prime concern.</li>
<li>Monitor WIP inventory. Work with production management to maximize delivery to customer requirements and optimize internal through-put.</li>
<li>Implement Lean Manufacturing mindset, practices and tools to maximize customer satisfaction and CPI profitability.</li>
<li>Actively involve Materials in new product design, including early material planning and key supplier involvement to optimize design for quality, cost and time-to-market.</li>
<li>Directly support the achievement of ISO-9000 registration.</li>
<li>Participate in planning and transition to a new facility.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Position Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.</li>
<li>Ten plus years’ experience in materials management in a Lean manufacturing environment. ISO9000 experience and implementation is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience in a manufacturing start-up, with new product development and rapid growth.</li>
<li>Experience in supply chain development, particularly metalworking and electronics.</li>
<li>Experience with industrial power equipment, electric motors, drives, and controls or other electro mechanical products,is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and communication skills are a must.</li>

<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>
<p>As a member of senior management, coach and assist all Comprehensive Power employees to achieve the highest level of quality in all their transactions.  Develop, implement and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous improvement of processes and products at CPI and is responsible for quality planning and execution in all phases of product design, sourcing, manufacturing, field support, and repairs.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities/Duties:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coach and assist company employees in achieving the highest level of quality in all their transactions with both internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Investigate, report on and work with employees to address and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality.</li>
<li>Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high quality, productivity and high technical integrity.</li>
<li>Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.</li>
<li>Provide tools and technical and statistical expertise to employees to assist in the measurement and improvement of quality.</li>
<li>Work with teams to help formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.</li>
<li>Be outward facing representative of the company for discussions and plans with customers, prospects and suppliers about Quality at CPI</li>
<li>Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.</li>
<li>Be cheerleader and advocate for quality control philosophy to all personnel within Company.</li>
<li>Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.</li>
<li>Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.</li>
<li> Interact with suppliers to ensure quality of all purchased parts, chair Material Review Board for non-conforming materials.</li>
<li>Coordinate corrective action reporting and follow-up within company.</li>
<li>Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.</li>
<li>Support Lean Manufacturing mindset, practices and tools to maximize both quality and continuous Improvement.</li>
<li>Directly support the achievement of ISO-9000 registration and other regulatory compliance.  Be the Quality Representative for ISO system as required.</li>

<p><strong>Education/Experience Desired:</strong></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Senior Electronics Technician’s role within the organization is to perform a variety of tasks including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of motors, drives and controls at the component, board, and system level.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform set-up and test of electronic components, boards, assemblies and subsystems</li>
<li>Maintain complete and accurate records of test results</li>
<li>Provide recommendations to improve set-up and test procedures</li>
<li>Perform evaluation, strong troubleshooting, repair and test of returns</li>
<li>Work expeditiously with engineering to resolve troubleshooting or repair issues</li>
<li>Assess, adjust, and communicate priorities as required by customer, workload, etc.</li>
<li>Assist in coordinating the activities of other technicians</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Associates Degree+/ or Advanced Technical education in electronics technology</li>
<li>5+ years’ experience in the electronics field with component, board, product and system test experience</li>
<li>Able to use a variety of test equipment and tools including oscilloscopes, meters, and soldering irons</li>
<li>Fine pitch soldering skills to IPC A 610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in ESD and FOD prevention</li>
<li>Solid communication skills</li>
<li>Procedure and process oriented</li>
<li>Able to work in a team environment</li>
<li>Driven to succeed and grow within the company</li>
<li>Safety conscious at all times</li>
<li>US Citizenship requiredExperience with working in a high voltage environment a plus</li>
